Vince And Joe Vitale Celebrate Opening Of New International Food Marketplace

SHELBY TWP., Mich., Oct. 23, 2006 - Vince and Joe Vitale and their families are proud to announce the long-awaited opening of their second Gourmet Market on Monday, Oct. 30, 2006. Vince & Joe's Gourmet Market, which features a complete selection of great-tasting, high-quality foods and beverages, as well as outstanding customer service and a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, is located at 55178 Van Dyke Ave. in Shelby Township, Mich. The new Gourmet Market follows the success of the Vitales' first operation on Garfield Road in Clinton Twp., which was established in 1983 and will remain open. The new store will be open to the public at 10:00 a.m.

"This is a proud moment for us and our families," said Domenica Vitale, wife of Vince Vitale. "We have a passion for food that embraces the importance of life and family. We have always wanted to share that passion with our customers. With the new store, we've taken it to the next level. They're going to love it!"

The 47,000-square-foot market specializes in providing the personal attention the Vitale brothers firmly believe customers deserve, and will create more than 300 new jobs. Vince & Joe's features:

Vince & Joe's Gourmet Market also features the Café Dolce Gelato coffee bar and the Trattoria mini-restaurant. The Café serves specialty coffees, espresso and cappuccino, as well as sumptuous freshly made Italian ice cream for carry out or sit-down service. The eight-seat Trattoria lets patrons watch food being prepared by Chef Neil Cusamano, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.
